Remember when I wrote about this Filipino dinner, and then a chef who helped with it, Julia Pham, was in last year’s People Issue? Well, Pham’s Relish Underground Dining will be collaborating with AC Boral of So Good & Delicious on “a 6-course Southern comfort food and Southern Rap journey” on Friday, October 24. • I’ll have more about this later in the week, but Fat Rice has been adding Portuguese wines to its menu with the help of wine buyer Craig Perman, and they’ll kick off a series of special wine dinners on Sunday, October 26, featuring Joao Roseira, owner/winemaker of Quinta do Infantado in Douro, Portugal. It will be a six-course menu with wine pairings, stories, and education about one of the underappreciated wine countries. Tickets are $160.
