Fitzpatrick Karp And Lutton Talking Schools At The Hideout

• Linda Lutton of WBEZ will join Mick and Ben at the Hideout on August 5, along with fellow ace reporters Lauren FitzPatrick of the Sun-Times and Sarah Karp of Catalyst.

With the start of a new school year just around the corner, Mick Dumke and I will be hosting three of the big guns of education reporting on our August 5 show at the Hideout.

It will be hard to top last month’s extravaganza featuring Aldermen Danny Solis and Rick Munoz. But if you really want to know what’s going on in with our schools, then you have to come to the show!

And Sarah—well, I don’t think she’s corrected any of my mistakes. Though I may have forgotten. If so, she can correct me at the Hideout.

And Sarah can talk about that CPS principal-training boondoggle, which diverted a desperately needed $20 million from the schools.

So Mick’s job will be to mention all the wonderful things Mayor E has done for our city. Good luck with that, Mick!
